Nickel plated steel housed resistors RFF

Nickel plated steel housed resistors RFF

Construction and execution

The resistors of this family use nickel-plated steel housings, which can be mounted using side fixing slots and have a high level of environmental protection (IP55).

The construction of these resistors consists in the insertion of resistive spirals in special ceramic containers, which are then assembled in the relative metal housings, filled with a suitable inorganic filler resistant to temperatures above 450°C.

The characteristic application of this family of resistors is that of pre-charging capacitors, but also of braking.
