Uncoated wire-wound resistors RCF

Uncoated wire-wound resistors RCF

Construction and execution

The RCF resistors are uncoated wire wound resistors, with the wire shaped like a spiral and wound on a suitably profiled circular section ceramic tube. In the characteristic "star" version, the RCF resistor, in conditions of forced ventilation around 8 m / sec, reaches a power level of 2500 W in dimensions of more than one third more contained than a similarly RDP resistor on a metal frame of power.

The characteristics of the RCF resistors make them particularly suitable for limiting strong currents.

Features
