Ceramic housed axial resistors

Ceramic housed axial resistors

Construction and execution

RFA resistors are axial resistors with terminals arranged along the axis of the resistor body, which consists of a square section ceramic enclosure, hence the name of axial resistors in ceramic enclosure. The resistive wire is wound on a fiberglass support, inserted into the ceramic case, which is in turn filled with a suitable inorganic filler.

Compared to the enamelled and cemented axial resistors, the axial resistors in ceramic enclosure have, at the same power level, a working voltage of about thirty percent lower.

Features

  • Nominal power range 4,4 W up to 25 W
  • Resistance range 0,1 Ω up to 27 kΩ
