Uncoated oxidized wire-wound resistors SRO

Uncoated oxidized wire-wound resistors SRO

Construction and execution

The SRO resistors are characterized by a wound resistive wire whose coils are clamped together so as to have a mechanical contact and the electrical insulation is guaranteed by an oxide layer that covers the resistive wire. This construction allows windings to be obtained with the maximum weight of wire, a sturdy construction, in order to withstand exceptionally good adiabatic loads and high energy pulses.
